Sergey Eliseev, President of the European Sambo Federation, held a working meeting with Vadim Kolganov, the representative of Scottish sambo.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the development of sambo in the United Kingdom, including issues related to organizing and holding club tournaments. Special attention was given to international cooperation and the participation of British representatives in major competitions.
They also discussed the prospects for the Great Britain national team’s participation in the Sambo Founders’ Cup, which will take place in Moscow in 2027, as well as preparations for the European Championships.
Vadim Kolganov is actively involved in the development of sambo in Scotland and has previously served as one of the organizers of sports and combat sambo events in Glasgow.
The meeting was part of the European Sambo Federation’s efforts to develop international cooperation and expand competitive sambo across Europe.
