The European Youth and Junior Sambo Championships will be held in Novi Sad, Serbia, from April 21 to 23. The tournament for boys and girls, as well as juniors, will be held at the SPENS sports facility.
National sambo federations that are members of the International Sambo Federation (FIAS) and the European Sambo Federation (ESF) are eligible to participate. Each federation is allowed to enter a maximum of one athlete per weight category. Tournament medals will be awarded in sport and combat sambo competitions in the following categories:
Age groups and weight categories:
Junior boys and junior girls (born 2006-2008, 18-20 years):
Sport sambo, men: 58, 64, 71, 79, 88, 98, +98 kg
Sport sambo, women: 50, 54, 59, 65, 72, 80, +80 kg
Combat sambo, men: 58, 64, 71, 79, 88, 98, +98 kg
Boys and girls (born 2008-2010, 16-18 years):
Sport sambo, men: 53, 58, 64, 71, 79, 88, 98, +98 kg
Sport Sambo, Women: 47, 50, 54, 59, 65, 72, 80, +80 kg
Official registration of delegations is carried out exclusively through the FIAS Database. Please note that admission to the competition is only possible with a valid license and a correctly submitted application within the timeframe established by the regulations. The draw is conducted automatically through the FIAS online system.
Applications for accommodation in official hotels, as well as requests for meeting and seeing-off (transfer) arrangements, must be submitted directly to the Organizing Committee of the specific competition.
