Six members of the Borac Judo and Sambo Club from Novi Sad made an important competitive and training journey in preparation for the upcoming Serbian and European Championships, which will be held in Novi Sad this April.
Milana Vrčinac, Uroš Boros, Sergej Mičević, Sonja Bogdanović, and Sergej Kovačević, the newest member of the team, accompanied by their coach, Dušan Jandric, participated in this adventure.

Thanks to the strong support and long-term cooperation of the Karlsruhe club and its director Fabian Schley, who is also the President of the German Sambo Federation, a detailed training plan has been developed to ensure the best possible results at the upcoming major competitions.
The athletes flew from Belgrade to Germany. Along with representatives of the German national team, they continued their journey to France, where they competed in the Sambo League tournament.

After achieving excellent results with five gold and two silver medals, taking an impressive second place overall among participating countries, the athletes returned to Karlsruhe with Fabian and his team to continue their training program. They stayed there until Friday, March 6th.
During their stay in Karlsruhe, the Budo Club hosted joint training sessions between the two national teams and the club, aimed at intensive preparation for the upcoming competition.

One of those who warmly welcomed the team in Karlsruhe was former Serbian champion Vladimir Gajić, who now lives and works in Germany.
This international collaboration and experience participating in high-level competitions represent an important step towards achieving high results at both the national and European levels.
