Combat Sambo League Finals in Moscow: Season Ends with International Titles

Moscow, Russia — December 14, 2025 — The International Sambo Center in Moscow hosted the culminating event of the year — the Combat Sambo League Final. This tournament, one of the most anticipated of the final sports season, brought together the strongest fighters from five countries and treated spectators to an evening of dynamic and uncompromising combat.

Outstanding athletes from Russia, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Cameroon took to the sambo carpet. Among the participants were world and European champions, as well as World Cup winners and runners-up, guaranteeing the highest level of competition.

Seven Title Fights: Stories of Victory

The tournament featured seven title bouts, each of which followed the signature rules of the Combat Sambo League and became a captivating story in its own right. The League once again confirmed its status as a world-class venue, harmoniously blending the deep traditions of Sambo with the modern format of spectacular fights.

The Moscow final was the League’s fifth tournament this year, highlighting its active development and broad geographic reach. Previously, the League stages were successfully held in St. Petersburg, Ulan-Ude, Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, and Chita.

The event made a significant contribution to the popularization of combat sambo and demonstrated the high standards of this martial art on the international stage.

Results of the Combat Sambo League final in Moscow:

• 58 kg: Malik Baisultanov (Kazakhstan) won by decision over Vladimir Lamanov (Nizhny Novgorod, Russia).

• 64 kg: Behruz Khalimov (Tajikistan) won by decision against Alexander Dontsov (St. Petersburg, Russia).

• 71 kg: Rustam Taldiev (St. Petersburg, Russia) defeated Niyetkhan Toleukhan (Kazakhstan) via choke in the first round.

• 64 kg: Eldar Dolozin (Chita, Russia) knocked out Ilzat Assiyev (Kazakhstan) in the second round.

• 88 kg: Nikolay Rodin (Samara, Russia) won by decision over Mustafa Alibekov (Tajikistan).

• 98 kg: Magomed Magomedov (Moscow, Russia) won by painful hold in the first round against Omurbek Uulu Adilet (Kyrgyzstan).

• 98 kg: Nji Mouluh Seidou (Cameroon) won by decision over Dmitry Lipatov (Nizhny Novgorod, Russia).

The Combat Sambo League Final in Moscow marked a vibrant conclusion to the sporting year, confirming the international character and growing popularity of combat sambo.
