The 74th Russian Sambo Championship ended in Bryansk. About 700 athletes took part in the competition. Based on the results of the Championship, a national team was formed to compete at the European Championship in May in Serbia and the World Championship in November in Kazakhstan.
The gold medalists of the Russian Championship will compete at the World Championship, and the silver medalists at the Continental Championship. The competition was held in three disciplines: men’s sport sambo, women’s sport sambo and men’s combat sambo.
Earlier, a female combat sambo team was formed.
