Yesterday, September 9, more than 150 athletes in age categories 45-49 years old and 50-54 years old took to the mats of the Kazakh city of Uralsk.
The equator of the competition brought 3 gold medals to the Kazakh national team, 10 gold medals to FIAS (Russia) and one gold each to Bulgaria and Georgia.
“This Championship is at a very high level. Kazakhstan knows how to make great competitions.” — commented Ivan Netov, Chairman of the Judging Panel of the Bulgarian Sambo Federation and judge of the competition.
In the unofficial team standings the FIAS team is leading with 18 gold medals in 2 days.
