The European SAMBO Federation regrets to announce that at the age of 70, the honored master of sports of Bulgaria, multiple medalist of the World and European Championships, the world champion among veterans Ivan Doktorov has died.
Many Bulgarian sambists grew up under the supervision and with the help of Ivan Doktorov. With his honesty, detachment and openness, he was an example of decency and value.
