The International Sambo tournament of category A in sports and combat sambo “President’s Cup of the Republic of Tatarstan” was held on October 5-6 at AK BARS Martial Arts Palace. The Latvian Sambo team was represented by 3 athletes.
Viktors Resko fought in the weight category +100 kg and defeated sambo athletes from Hungary, France and Russia.
Let us remind that this tournament is in a ranking list and gives all the athletes the possibility for selection to the 2nd European Games 2019 in Minsk.
