The capital of Georgia will be hosting once again many athletes from various countries at the international tournament category “B” Memorial A.Tschocheli.
150 athletes will take part in the competition from 8 countries: Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Greece, Georgia, Israel, Kazakhstan and Russia.

Archil Tschocheli is a two-time world champion and a multiple prize-winner of the European Sambo Championships, in 2012 he was appointed the head coach of the Georgian national team and prepared teams for the competitions. However, on August 29, 2012, Georgian sambo suffered a tragic loss. The 41-year-old Major of Special Forces Archil Tschocheli died heroically on the special operation.
