From November 5 to 8, 2020 in Novi Sad (Serbia), the SPENS arena will host the World SAMBO Championships and the World Youth and Junior SAMBO Championships. The event is organized by the international Sambo Federation (FIAS) and the Serbian Sambo Federation.
This year, sets of medals in the following weight categories will be awarded on mats of the World Youth and Junior SAMBO Championships:
* young men: 48, 52, 56, 60, 65, 70, 75, 81, 87, over 87 kg.
* girls: 40, 44, 48, 52, 56, 60, 65, 70, 75, over 75 kg.
* juniors: 48, 52, 57, 62, 68, 74, 82, 90, 100, over 100 kg.
* juniors: 44, 48, 52, 56, 60, 64, 68, 72, 80, over 80 kg.
At the World SAMBO Championships, medals will be distributed in the following weight categories:
* men: 52, 57, 62, 68, 74, 82, 90, 100, over 100 kg.
* women: 48, 52, 56, 60, 64, 68, 72, 80, over 80 kg.
* combat Sambo: 52, 57, 62, 68, 74, 82, 90, 100, over 100 kg.
