Self-defense without weapons is a form of martial art, which was created in 1938 and gained popularity among current athletes and the younger generation. In the entire history of Sambo, professionals and amateurs have had the opportunity to take part in many international competitions held in more than 45 countries.
Today Sambo is practiced in 120 countries of the world, and the International Sambo Federation unites 88 National Federations. Thanks to your support in the development and conduct of sambo competitions athletes, coaches, referees and fans get not only great sports experience, but also cultural ties between states are becoming stronger. Each competition turns into an unforgettable festival for the participants!
