The European Sambo Championship 2017 among Youth and Juniors will be held within April 18-22, 2017 in Prague (Czech Republic) in the sport complex Sportovni hala Kralovka (Nad Kralovskou oborou 51, Praha −7).
The European Sambo Championship among Youth and Juniors will be organized and conducted by the European Sambo Federation (EFS) and the Czech Sambo Union.
The best sambo athletes (years of birth 1997-2001) will compete at the championship in the following weight categories:
Youth (M) born in 1999-2000; 2001
-48, 52, 56, 60, 65, 70, 75, 81, 87, +87 kg
Youth (W) born in 1999-2000; 2001
-40, 44, 48, 52, 56, 60, 65, 70, 75, +75 kg
Juniors (M) born in 1997-1998; 1999
-48, 52, 57, 62, 68, 74, 82, 90,100, +100 kg,
Juniors (W) born in 1997-1998; 1999
-44, 48, 52, 56, 60, 64, 68, 72, 80, +80 kg
The championship will gather 200 athletes from 25 European countries.
