Sambo and Wrestling Federation of Madrid together with the International and European Sambo Federations celebrated the International Sambo Day in Spain!
The best sambo athletes took part in the training organised in the Sports Complex Referencia FML (AL DOJO) on November 16.
The training was run on two mats in the sports complex of Sambo and Wrestling Federation of Madrid. Originally, sambo is a russian wrestling which combines different types of martial arts and being practiced widely in Madrid and gains more popularity in Spain. It is worth to mention that a month ago Nikolai Potashnik had just run master classes for combat sambo in Madrid, Cáceres and Orense.
At the end of the event each participant enjoyed a festival sambo cake!
Angel Gimenez, President of Sambo and Wrestling Federation of Madrid, thanked for participation all the representatives of clubs, coaches and athletes and congratulated them on the International Sambo Day.
