On the 14th of March Novi Sad hosted for the Sambo championship of Serbia among youth, juniors and seniors. The competition gathered 19 sambo clubs, with a total of 160 competitors. This event became a selection competition for the European championship in Novi Sad among youth and juniors, as well as for the European championship among seniors in Zagreb. During the championship, competitors showed a high level of sport skills. We expect successful participation in the upcomning competitions. Beside considerable increase in the number of clubs, there has been great improvement in quality of the matches observed.
