The conduct of the reporting-election Congress of the European Sambo Federation is planned for May 17th, 2012 in Moscow.
Under clause 5.22 of the European Sambo Federation statute, the candidatures for the position of the European Sambo Federation President must be presented by the Federation members to the General Secretary at the minimum within three months before the Congress commencement.
By February 17th, 2012 the All-Russian Sambo Federation presented the candidature of Dr. Sergey ELISEEV for the position of the European Sambo Federation President. Other candidatures for the position of the European Sambo Federation President were not presented by the Federation members.
